Andrew Held

Andrew received his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology as well as his Masters of Social Work from St. Ambrose University. Andrew enjoys working with pre-teens through young adults on areas around depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, grief and loss, and adoption. Andrew has previous experience working with Middle and High School students on these specific areas of focus. Andrew likes to work together with individuals to focus on their strengths. Andrew prioritizes creating solutions that are specialized to the individual he is working with. Andrew uses casual communication during sessions. Andrew likes to use movement and writing to help people communicate their experience in different modalities.

When not at work, Andrew is often found playing video games or pickleball. Andrew enjoys going to the movies as well as spending time at home binge watching TV shows with friends and family. Andrew is a huge Marvel/DC fan and loves hearing about any and all pets that someone may have.
