Cara earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from Oakland University in Michigan and is a Licensed (t) Mental Health Counselor in Iowa. Cara works with children, adolescents, and adults with various issues, including anxiety, depression, divorce, trauma, LGBTQ+, grief/loss, and life transitions. Cara is passionate about providing a supportive, non-judgmental environment that allows patients to feel heard, understood, and seen.
Cara sees Outpatient Therapy patients at the Ankeny Office and via Telehealth.
The Fun Stuff…
Cara spends most of her time enjoying and chasing after her toddler. She loves country music concerts with friends, traveling with family, reading paranormal romance books, playing the piano, and cuddling with her cat, Sammie.
