The Serious Stuff…
Emma received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Iowa State University, and received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. Emma’s areas of interest include: depression, anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, and self-esteem. She includes a mixture of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with other modalities, depending on client needs. Emma finds it important to meet clients where they are to be able to foster a healthy therapeutic relationship and promote growth.
Emma sees clients out of the West Des Moines office.
The Fun Stuff…
You can find Emma cheering for the Iowa State Cyclones on game days. Emma actively practices yoga and meditation in her free time to utilize various techniques in her therapeutic practice. She also enjoys spending time with her family and goldendoodle, Wilson. She enjoys spending time outdoors in her hammock or soaking up the sun anywhere she can!
