The Serious Stuff…
Kalee received her Bachelors and Masters of Social Work from Western Kentucky University. Kalee enjoys working with adolescents that are seeking support in areas of substance abuse, depression, anxiety, anger, poor self-esteem, family problems, etc. Kalee believes in meeting the client where they are at and allowing them to have a say in their goals for therapy. Kalee utilizes elements from a variety of modalities including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), person-centered, motivational interviewing, and systems theory. Kalee also incorporates a strengths-based approach to help clients identify their own strengths and continue to build upon them as they work through difficult emotions and situations.
Kalee sees clients at Ankeny High School and Southview Middle School.
The Fun Stuff…
Kalee enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family and her dog, Milo. In her free time, she also enjoys going to the gym, spending time outside, trying new restaurants, watching movies and tv shows, supporting the United States Women’s National Soccer Team, and travelling when she gets the chance. Kalee loves soccer as she played all throughout her childhood and adolescence and hopes to be a soccer coach one day!
