The Serious Stuff…
Leah received her Masters Degree from Buena Vista University and her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University. In addition to her tLMHC, Leah is a certified teacher and school counselor. Leah’s interest and experience includes working with adolescents and young adults navigating life’s transitions. Her primary areas of focus are anxiety, depression, trauma, school-related concerns, grief/loss, and women’s issues.
Leah uses a client-centered approach to help individuals reach their full potential and purpose.
Leah sees clients at Ankeny High School and out of the Des Moines location.
The Fun Stuff…
Leah enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and their dog Ollie. She finds joy in learning new things and in helping others.
