Liz graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s in Psychology and master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University. Liz sees individuals of all backgrounds, faiths and walks of life. She specializes in working with teenagers and adults of all ages. Her areas of specialty include working with anxiety, mood disorders, depression, grief, self-esteem, coping skills, peer relationships and trauma. Liz uses CBT, Mindfulness, IFS, ACT, Gestalt, Client Centered Therapy, DBT, Psychoanalytic, Solution-Focused Therapy and eclectic modalities in her work. Liz offers a place for clients to discover their strengths. Liz helps clients to overcome obstacles or challenges that might be holding them back to become the best version of themselves.
Liz sees clients out of the Des Moines Office.
The Fun Stuff…
Liz enjoys spending time with her family, time in nature, staying active, and spending time with her dogs and cats. One of Liz’s personal interests includes the healing arts.
