The Serious Stuff…
Lydia graduated with her masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Iowa. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families and has provided care for a wide variety of diagnoses. Lydia has special interests with clients experiencing perinatal depression and anxiety as well as foster care, adoption and clients experiencing infertility. She is passionate about fostering autonomy and self-esteem in youth and providing a safe space with unconditional support for her clients.
Lydia sees clients out of the West Des Moines office.
The Fun Stuff…
In her free time, Lydia enjoys spending time with her friends and family, including her four nieces and nephews. She enjoys hiking, hammocking, and anything else outside in the sun. Lydia also loves to travel – her favorite trip so far included exploring Iceland and Spain with her two best friends.
