Therapy Dog (In Training)
The Serious Stuff…
My full name is Princess Maple Esmae, but you can just call me Maple. I was born on August 18, 2024, and started my training when I was almost 3 months old in November 2024. I still have a long way to go to become a certified therapy dog, but I am getting there. I love, love, love people and animals. I am still learning to stay calm when I am around others. You can help by not petting me if I happen to jump around in excitement when I meet you and instead give me love and pets when all four of my feet are on the ground.
My mom is Lindsey, who also works in the Des Moines office at LifeWorks! My half-sister, Georgy, is in the Ankeny office. I am excited to be here and loved spending time with LifeWorks’s first therapy dog, Wrigley, who taught me the art of being chill before his retirement in June of 2024. If you would like me to spend time with you and your therapist while you are in the office, just let your therapist know you want to meet me. I would LOVE to meet you, too.
The Fun Stuff…
When I’m not at LifeWorks, I am at home playing with my two human siblings. I love running, playing soccer and tugowar. I am also gifted at untying people’s shoes, which mom does not find to be amusing. My time in the office varies, so hopefully, I will see you around, but if you don’t see me on a day or time you are here, you can still request to meet me!
