The Serious Stuff…
Sydney is so excited to create a warm, inviting, comfortable, and supportive environment for her clients. Sydney is currently working towards her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She also earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in human relations from the University of Iowa. Sydney has a large and wide history in the mental health field. She previously worked as a Behavioral Health Technician for neurodivergent children in Arizona, as well as working with the children and adolescent population at an inpatient psychiatric unit. Sydney has a special interest working with clients who experience ADHD, depression, anxiety, individuals who have experienced and/or dealing with trauma and those who are dealing with life changes. Sydney leans toward utilizing therapies such as CBT, holistic practices and person-centered approaches. Sydney has a passion for helping others overcome obstacles and promote whole self-wellness mentally, physically and spiritually. She also holds certifications in sound healing therapy, breathwork, and meditation
Sydney sees clients out of the Des Moines Office.
The Fun Stuff…
In Sydney’s free time she loves to travel, shop, and spend time with her friends and family. She loves to take her Great Dane and French Bulldogs for walks, watching anything on Bravo, shopping for crystals, and doing sound baths.
